Oh this is so cool!! I logged on and my friend from Trotontv.com is now following me! That makes 2! LOL:) Lesson today, western. After the owner of the horse I'm leasing and my trainer had me test out to new trail pattern for the upcoming western show I'll be in. (Cougar and I are gonna kick butt in the show!)
Jumped on Cougar for the first time (on purpose) last week. He jumped it like it was 5ft but it wasn't even 2 ft! The first time I was like standing in my saddle. My leg sticking out to the side, and my butt in the air. It looked like this:
The second time went more smootly. Better on my part. But I felt like a jockey. Here's a picture of that:
All About horses. I'll put up what people wanna learn about them and what I learn throughout my personal experiments!!

Starting To Hate Winter...
All the horses are going crazy! During my lesson today my friend's horse basically ran away right from under neath her! He was bucking and rearing and the next thing I know, she's on the ground crying. The horse was still running around the arena and one of the trainers were yelling to keep our horses standing. keep our horses standing! Which we did, but my friend was still on the ground. She hit her side then kinda twisted on her back. It looked painful. she tried riding again, on a different horse this time, a pony. Just to get her to try to get back on. Then the pony got an attitude! I think she was just, done... Cougar gave me a good lead during the canter, then got faster and more unbalanced, like almost too lazy to do good. And this was on his right lead (his good one)!!
I'm getting SICK of this cold weather, I haven't jumped (on purpose) in a long time!
